Thursday, January 7, was the first practice for Haverfordwest Ladies Choir, following their Christmas break. Meeting in the usual place, rehearsals started for their exciting programme of events for this their 25th anniversary year.

With a full complement of 25 members, they are all looking forward to their many planned concerts, including the performances planned during their trip to Winchester which is taking place in June. There were two new pieces amongst the music, adding further to their extensive repertoire.

Following the third rehearsal last (Thursday) night, they will all meet up again socially for their annual post-Christmas dinner, this year being held at Nant-y-Ffin Hotel, Llandissilio, on Sunday.

Anyone interested in joining the choir is welcome to come along on a Thursday evening at 7.30 to the Catholic Church Hall, Dew Street, Haverfordwest.
