A series of workshops has been arranged for Pembroke Dock so that everyone can get involved in developing an Action Plan for the town which will take into account the views of everyone - however young or old. In partnership with the Town Council, the workshops are being organised and facilitated by PLANED, the community development organisation for the county, which as the Local Action Group, has brought millions of pounds of European (EU) money into Pembrokeshire since 1991. The aim of these workshops is to stimulate discussion about what are the needs and opportunities of Pembroke Dock and to generate ideas about how they can be addressed and overcome. The Action Plan that is produced at the end is valuable and essential evidence required by funders to support future projects. Two workshops will be held in the Pater Hall in the evenings of June 25 and July 9 and another two workshops will take place in Pennar Hall on July 5 and July 26 during the morning. These sessions are fun and enjoyable.
