Sir,
I have read of the proposed chalet development in Penally with a growing sense of incredulity.
Penally was home to my family and I for 33 years and, although I now live in Lamphey, I still have family in the village, so I drive quite regularly across the Ridgeway and down into the village.
Have the planners gone mad?
The lanes around West Holloway are narrow, the banks are high and visibility is limited. The thought of more cars or more importantly families with children on those lanes is alarming. There is no footpath and no way there ever could be a footpath.
In every way this development is a bad idea. I hope it can be stopped before it goes any further.
Ruth Griffiths,
Cleggar Park,
Lamphey.
