Like the rest of the nation, the people of South Pembrokeshire celebrated the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in style over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Red, white and blue bunting flew high as a whole host of events, including street parties, lunches, barbecues and beacon lighting ceremonies were held to mark Her Majesty's 60th anniversary on the throne.
Over the years, Pembroke Castle has witnessed many great historic occasions, but possibly none matched the Diamond Jubilee celebrations held within its magnificent grounds last weekend.
Thousands of people visited the castle throughout the four days of the celebrations to enjoy the events and activities there, whether it was watching the pageants and concerts from London on the big screen, participating in the various games, enjoying the spectacular fireworks display which lit up the castle walls, listening to the varied music on offer, or just sitting back and relaxing with a picnic.
Indeed, a great time was had by all.
All over the county, the memorable milestone was commemorated. See this week's paper or subscribe to the online edition for more pictures and reports.
