Pembroke Dock Bicentenary Group invite you to mess about (safely) on the river. Pembroke Dock Bicentenary group are looking for teams and individuals to take part in free raft racing at their bicentenary water festival on Saturday, August 9. The event will be held at the Pembrokeshire Adventure Centre at Cosheston Pill when two raft challenges will take place. The first is a junior ad-hoc event which will be supervised by the centre and competitors can register on arrival and will be given equipment, safety gear and instructions to build a raft and race it around a short craft. The age group for this event is 10 to 18 years and teams will be formed of differing ages. All events are free to enter. The second senior challenge is aimed at teams of 16-plus age groups and involves designing and racing their bespoke raft based on general guidelines provided. This should attract entrants from businesses, organisations, clubs and pubs.
