There's a growing enthusiasm for gardening at Pembroke Dock Community School, thanks to community work to provide parents and children with the best base for their green-fingered endeavours

Springboard and Communities First Llanion recently joined forces once again with the School, with Communities First Llanion generously agreeing to fund a new all singing and dancing shed from which all gardening activities will be run.

To date, Springboard has run a number of courses to engage parents and children in the development of the school garden.

Allotments have been created, flowers and vegetables have been planted, a poly-tunnel erected and a storytelling circle made - much to the delight of everyone involved! 

Next on the schedule, ready for the height of summer, is a great big sunflower competition!
