The funeral of 25-year-old Michaela Marie Haines of Pembroke Dock who died over the Christmas period is to be held today (January 10).
A candlelight vigil was held in Tenby over Christmas in memory of Michaela, who lived and worked in the town.
A justgiving page set up at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/carla-reily-1 to help raise funds for the funeral has so far raised over £4,000.
Michaela’s funeral will take place on Tuesday, with a service at 1.30 pm, at St. Mary’s Church, Pembroke, and at 3.15 pm at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth.A post funeral reception will be held at Monkton Swifts Social Club (for those unable to attend the crematorium the venue will be open following the church service).Police investigating the death have said that there aren’t believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
“Dyfed-Powys Police were called to an address in Tenby in the early hours of December 23, to reports of a death of a woman at the location,” said a police spokesperson.
“Officers and paramedics attended and the body of a 25-year-old woman was found at the address. There aren’t believed to be suspicious circumstances. HM coroner has been informed,” they added.
