Saundersfoot and District Historical Society’s October talk on the changing face of Carew Castle down through the ages was again very well attended.

Next Wednesday, November 15, they look forward to welcoming Chris Evans whose illustrated lecture will be a brief history of Colby and its mining. The lecture will be held at the Regency Hall from 7.30pm, and non-members are welcome to attend on the night.

Preparations for the members’ Christmas Supper at the Regency Hall on December 15 are well advanced. The attractive meal will cost £18.50 per person and a deposit of £10, as well as the names of interested parties, will be taken at the November talk. And the Christmas evening will be enlivened as ever by our light-hearted but enjoyable quizzes.
