Members of Tenby Friendship Club enjoyed a wonderful talk and photo show by Mick Brown all about the Antarctica.

His photos of albatrosses, penguins, whales, snowy petrels were magnificent. Just under 40 members were asked if they had, in real life, seen a whale spout, and only three had.

Mike stopped his show when Rebecca Rees, (from Tenby Patch at the Old Chapel) arrived to thank members for all the presents they donated to Patch for the children for Christmas. After a cuppa, Mike finished his film show and answered questions. The members had a great afternoon on Wednesday, November 23.

There is no meeting at the hall on Wednesday, December 7, as most members will be on the club’s trip to York and Chatsworth House. The next meeting will be on December 14; the final meeting of the year.
