Safety work at Nash Fingerpost is currently on hold, but will be complete by April.
That's what MP Simon Hart has been told by Edwina Hart, Welsh Assembly Minister for Economy, Science and Transport, after he questioned the A477 junction improvement scheme.
"The improvements include widening the carriageway and central reservation, as well as construction of a shared use path," the letter from the Welsh Government told Mr. Hart.
The letter explained: "The work has been programmed to minimise disruption during major maintenance operations at the Valero oil refinery. As a result, progress may appear intermittent.
"However, we still plan to complete the improvements by the end of the financial year," added ther letter.
