The St. Patrick’s Church ‘Festival of Roses’ will be held this weekend, with a ‘songs of praise’ service also taking place on Sunday, at 6 pm.

The ‘Festival of Roses’ is a service of celebration, with the aim of filling the church which is located in Pennar, with roses.

Each rose, which will have a card inscribed appropriately, will be given in loving memory of someone, or in thanksgiving for someone or something.

The church will be open for viewing of the roses tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday, from 2 to 5 pm, and on Monday from 2 to 4 pm. Refreshments will be available each day.

Anyone who would like to sponsor a rose at £3, will be able to hand one of the forms available to a member of St. Patrick’s or Mrs. Margaret Worley, Ashbrooke, Cross Park, Pennar, Pembroke Dock. All proceeds from the ‘Festival of Roses’ are in aid of St. Patrick’s Church Funds.
