Paul Davies MS has again called for action to be taken to address Bovine TB across Wales.

The Ceredigion Penfro Senedd Member spoke in a debate on Bovine TB in the Senedd and highlighted the disease’s devastating impact.

Mr Davies said: “Bovine TB continues to have a huge impact on farmers, their families and rural communities across Wales. It continues to place enormous emotional and financial pressures on farming businesses and remains one of the most significant challenges facing our agricultural industry.”

He called on the Welsh Government to utilise every available tool it has to reduce transmission of the disease and work towards eradication, emphasising the need for a science-led, holistic strategy that addresses all sources of infection and transmission.
