When the Sunderland Trust decided to 'deck the halls' of its Coffee Shop in Pembroke Dock for Christmas, it turned to the Esteam Team for inspiration.

Display items on a seasonal theme, made by participants working at Esteam's base at The Warren, Warren, near Pembroke, are bedecking the Glass House Coffee Shop which is part of the Trust's 'Fleets to Flying Boats' Visitor Centre in the Royal Dockyard.

Esteam - the Environmental Sustainability Team - is a community-based group which provides work experience, training and education for people with learning disabilities in west Wales.

Several of the team involved in making Christmas items from recycled and sustainable timber sources brought along their work to the Coffee Shop.

These unique items are for sale in the run-up to Christmas - helping to support the Esteam Team, which has been operating locally for over six years.

Said Esteam's Paul Cook: "Our team members are delighted to link up with the Sunderland Trust and to support their exciting project. We are also selling our Christmas items at other outlets in the county, which helps Esteam to be financially sustainable as well as ecologically sustainable."

The Esteam products are part of the seasonal decorations in the Glass House Coffee Shop where a Christmas Fundraising Fayre is being held on Friday, December 7, between 10 am and 4 pm. Crafts, cakes, gifts and other stock will be on sale then.
