A COMPELLING and compassionate new play that celebrates street art, people power and the resilience of communities can be seen at the Torch Theatre on May 20.
The Sherman Theatre’s forthcoming co-production with Theatr3 of Port Talbot Gotta Banksy will explore the impact of Banksy’s famous mural Season’s Greetings, which appeared on a Port Talbot steelworker’s garage in 2018, on the community.
The cast includes Jalisa Andrews, Matthew Bulgo, Holly Carpenter, Ioan Hefin, Simon Nehan and Kerry Joy Stewart.
The script is crafted from over 100 hours of interviews with locals, conducted over six years, and tells the incredible story of the Port Talbot Banksy in the community’s authentic voices.
