The audience thoroughly enjoyed the matinee relaxed showing of Mama Mia at the De Valence...

A relaxed screening means the light levels are not so low, and the noise is not so high. People can move around and join in with the movie without worrying.

Although most people have seen the film, it is still a feel-good movie that people can enjoy over again, where a young woman invites three of her mother’s former boyfriends to her wedding in the hope that she’ll find out which one is her father. It incorporates several wonderful ABBA songs which fit into the plot and is set on a sunny Greek island. Throw in singing and dancing and a happy ending and it‘s a winning formula.

Films4Tenby would like to thank Tenby Rotary Club and the De Valence Trust for their help in screening the film on Tuesday, April 18.

A relaxed screening of Grease is being planned for June - watch this space for more information!

Also on April 18, a screening of the Banshees of Inisherin filled in at the last minute as the new Avatar film was unavailable. This turned out to be a good thing, as a decent audience came along to see it, and feedback on the way out was very positive.

In May, the annual membership is due for Films4Tenby, so bring £10 to the first screening you come attend - perhaps The Last King on Tuesday May 16?
