Tenby and District Arts Club meets on Friday evenings at St Johns Church Hall. Read on for a preview of their programme…

The autumn/winter session was opened by The Serendipity Choir under the direction of Juliet Rossiter.

Juliet, conducting from the keyboard, led the choir through The Rose, Your Song, Yesterday, Bohemian Rhapsody and many other beautifully-executed pieces.  The choir's guest was Martin Davies who included Anfonaf Angel (Guardian Angel) in his programme.  He and the choir were very well received by an enthusiastic audience.  Chairman Adrian Davies said that their love of music shone through.

Tomorrow, October 13, Catherine Thomas and Naomi Tydeman will be talking about their book - Dragon.  Catherine wrote the text and Naomi provided the illustrations.  It will be fascinating to hear how they went about producing such a lovely story.

Later this term on October 20 there will be a talk on Medieval Gates and Walls of Haverfordwest by Simon Hancock and on the 27th, a talk on Stackpole by Tudor Thomas.

On November 10 the club will be hearing about Pembrokeshire Ferries and Ferrymen from Keith Johnson and on November 17 there will be music from Mark Thompson and Lucy Evans.  On November 25 (Saturday) there is a visit to Ash Farm and on December 1 Mark Lewis will talk about Augustus John.

All meetings are at 7pm at St John's Church Hall, Warren Street, Tenby, unless otherwise stated.  All are most welcome.
