After an uncertain two years, the Pembroke Town and Country Show returns to the showfield in Lamphey on Wednesday (August 3).

The show offers a fantastic day out for all the family with a variety of attractions and entertainment.  In the livestock section there will be classes for horses, cattle, sheep, and goats.  Unfortunately, because of the ongoing Avian Flu restrictions, no birds or fowl will be allowed at this year’s show.

There will also be classes for vintage tractors and machinery - as well as classic cars and classic motorbikes, all restored by their owners; it should all make for a magnificent display in the event ring.  Other attractions include displays from the Black Mountain Falconry, plus the entertaining Quack Pack display, and the Cresselly Hunt who will parade the Hounds in the main ring.

Dogs are more than welcome, so why not bring your best friend along and enter them in the popular dog show? Entries are admitted on the day. There will be reduced classes in the horticulture and domestic section this year but there a selection of classes for children to enter.  Details can be found on www.pembroketownandcountryshow.org.uk .

In addition to all this, there will be a wide range of trade stands to browse, as well as food stalls and a licensed bar.  There is something for everyone whether you’re a spectator, exhibitor, competitor or on holiday.

The organisers look forward to seeing you and hope you’ll join them for a fun-packed day.
