A COFFEE and cake event at Pennar Community Hall, Pembroke Dock on September 15 in aid of Wales Air Ambulance.

Organiser Peter Kraus explains: “I am trying my very best to raise £1,000 for the Air Ambulance Wales which would just about cover one hour of flying time… Together we can do it.”

“We all know how vital it is to have an Air Ambulance for us here in South Wales,” he added. “The service comes at a huge cost and they need millions of pounds every year to keep the service going.

“The amount of lives they save is incredible. This is where we the general public come into it. Without our help there would be no Air Ambulance Wales.

“So I am looking for kind people who would be willing to sponsor the event, make homemade cakes and donate raffle prizes.

The event on Monday, September 15 will begin at 10am and finish at 1pm.
