THE Paul Sartori Foundation is thankful to the Tenby community after 2026’s Light up a Life Remembrance Concert raised £4044.42 to support hospice care across Pembrokeshire.

Held at St Mary’s Church in Tenby at the end of January, the evening brought together families, friends and supporters for a night of reflection and remembrance. With candlelight, thoughtful readings and beautiful music, the event offered a gentle space to honour loved ones and celebrate lives that will always be remembered.

The charity extends heartfelt appreciation to everyone who helped make the evening so meaningful, from those who attended and donated, to the volunteers and performers who generously gave their time.

This year’s concert featured performances from The Paul Sartori Community Choir, joined for the first time by Côr Dyfed Choir, alongside Julie Conybeare and Margaret Blackledge. Their uplifting contribution helped create an atmosphere filled with warmth and togetherness. Several Paul Sartori staff members gave meaningful readings in English and Welsh.

Joanne Lutwyche, the charity’s event and fundraising officer, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Reverend Steven Brett, Margaret Peake and the whole church community at St Mary’s for welcoming us so warmly to Tenby.

“Our sincere thanks also go to all the musicians, our wonderful volunteers, and the Paul Sartori staff who worked behind the scenes to make the evening run so smoothly. Most of all, thank you to everyone who attended and supported Light up a Life 2026. It was a truly special evening, and the kindness shown by the Tenby community means so much to us.”

The £4044.42 raised will help Paul Sartori provide specialist end-of-life care and support for people living with life-limiting illness, and their families, across Pembrokeshire.
