A FREE charity concert on Saturday, May 9 at St Mary’s Church, Tenby will feature Serendipity Ladies Choir and the Ystrad Mynach Male Voice Choir.

The concert, which starts at 7pm, is a fundraiser for the Paul Sartori Foundation, so donations are welcome.

The 50-strong Serendipity Ladies Choir is based in Narberth and directed by Juliet Rossiter. This friendly, welcoming and supportive choir is open to all ladies who love to sing. There are no auditions, but that doesn’t stop Serendipity Ladies Choir from tackling three-part harmonies and handling a wide range of genres including choral, musical theatre, pop and Welsh favourites.

The choir has now been singing together for over 10 years, and new members are always welcome. If you’d like to find your ‘happy place’ and join them for music, friendship and harmony, find the choir on Facebook, email [email protected] or call 07791 542187.

A much older choir, Ystrad Mynach Male Voice Choir celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2024. The South Wales valleys choir is celebrated for its community spirit and rich choral tradition, with a repertoire that spans traditional Welsh hymns, songs from the musicals and hits from artists like The Carpenters and Neil Diamond.
