Carew Castle will transform into an alternative 18th-century world this weekend, as The Storymaster’s Tales present Folklore Realms – a live action role-playing adventure like no other.
Created by best-selling author and games designer Oliver McNeil, this immersive event invites players aged 7 to adult to step into a realm of dragons, traps, treasure and unforgettable characters.
Daisy Hughes, Manager of Carew Castle, said: “Folklore Realms isn’t a show you sit and watch – it’s a world you step into. We’ve never hosted anything quite like it, and it’s going to be a real treat for anyone who loves fantasy, stories, or just trying something different.”
Participants are encouraged to arrive dressed as a wizard, pirate, ranger or fae creature, ready to be swept into the action.
Alongside the LARP experience, visitors will also be able to explore Carew’s other attractions, including the only restored Tidal Mill in Wales and Nest Tearoom – a cosy café serving homemade lunches, cakes and drinks, which is situated in the Walled Garden.
The experience begins on Sunday, September 28. For times, ticket prices and booking information, visit www.storymasterstales.com/live.
