Sunday's service began with an joyful time of worship, led by Jackie Rodda, which included 'There is power in the name of Jesus' and 'King of Kings'.

After the worship, Pastor Edward came to the front to deliver the word that the Lord had put on his heart this week.

Things are changing all around us. Over the past few years, we have seen the worlds economic systems shaken, we have seen political systems replaced with the Arab up-spring, and we have seen an increase in social unrest all over the world. This year yet again promises many challenges.

It is so important, that now more then ever, we look to God, and not to ourselves. We need to be living in the fullness of what God has for our lives, not relying on ourselves, or our good works, but having faith in what Christ has accomplished for us already.

Philippians 4:19 says: "And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

And Philippians 1:6 says: "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus."

When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, God will be faithful to provide all our needs, to forgive us of our sins, and to prepare us for eternity with Him.
