It has been a busy week for all the pupils at Pembroke Dock Community School. Our football teams recently travelled to Tenby to participate in the Urdd Football Festival. Led by Miss Ffion and Mr. Owens, the teams did magnificently and played out of their skins. The boys even managed to get to the semi-finals after topping their group - well done everyone!
Early Years have been busy using green screen technology to enhance their work on what they want to be when they grow up. The pupils found images on the internet and then used green screen to transport their photo onto the image. The results were very impressive.
Year 3 have also been visiting Tenby this week as they visited the Tudor Merchant’s House as part of their historical studies. The trip proved very worthwhile and has enhanced the learning of the pupils considerably.
Last Monday also saw the culmination of a summer of hard work as Springboard presented their summer school work in the hall alongside Steve Smith. In particular, the digital literacy workshop was a huge success and helped to develop many new skills in all the families that attended. For more information, see our TEAM page on the school website.
