During Fairtrade Fortnight (which runs until March 7) - Dosbarth 2 pupils at St. Oswald’s VA Primary School, Jeffreyston, are looking at what it means to be Fairtrade and how it helps people across the world.

For two weeks each year at the end of February and start of March, thousands of individuals, companies and groups across the UK come together to share the stories of the people who grow our food and drinks for Fairtrade Fortnight.

“We are looking to find out which places in our local area - such as Tenby, Saundersfoot and surrounding areas, sell Fair trade products,” said Dosbarth 2 teacher Miss Pearce at St Oswald’s.

“We are asking local business, if they would be able, to tag themselves and what Fairtrade products they sell on our school Facebook page.

“We would like to then gather the information and create a video about which shops sells Fair trade in our local area and share it with everyone.

“Dosbarth 2 are really looking forward to seeing which companies locally sell Fairtrade products!” she added.

Anyone who may be able to assist the school can search for @StOswaldsPembs on Facebook.
