Tenby residents John and Glen Pattison-Dick celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary on September 3.

The couple married in Dawlish, Devon, in 1960.

A large family gathering had been planned for the 60th celebrations, with arrangements starting to be made just as Coronovirus hit and lockdown started earlier in the year.

In the end, the North Cliffe couple were inundated with cards and messages, including one from the Queen sending congratulations on their 60th anniversary.

On the evening the two had a quiet celebration, with dinner a deux in the Gilar Hotel.

Family members were able to join them later to celebrate. Son, Christopher, delivered a gorgeous cake made by fiancée Sue, and daughter Stevie and husband Roger were able to come down from England for the weekend for more celebrations.

Congratulations to them both.
