Pembroke Dock Cricket Club will be holding a reunion for all past and present members at the clubhouse on Saturday, March 3, 6.30 for 7 pm.

The management committee has recognised it is vital to record the heritage of the club for the community to enjoy, so would like to bring together the club's memorabilia and history in one place.

They would be pleased if anyone attending would consider donating or lending any memorabilia; such as bats, medals, scoring books, shirts etc. which will be displayed in the wall cabinet. Current players will record any stories you have at the reunion; they will be placed on the website pembrokedockcc.co.uk

One of the oldest past cricketers, Frank Harries, has donated old cricket scoring books recording the 1954 and 1955 and 1969, 1970 and 1971 seasons played at Britannia, Bush Camp and Imble Lane. The scoring books have given an invaluable insight to the results and opponents (league and social matches).

Maurice Leyland has recorded the names of players and members since 1965, and as a consequence the club has decided to erect a player's board which will reflect all past and current players.

Anyone interested in attending the reunion is asked to contact Andrew Scott-Davies, hon. chairman, on 01646 686518.
