A WARRANT for arrest without bail has been issued against a 21-year-old Pembroke Dock man charged with drug driving.
The warrant was issued against Evan Carter, of Albion Square, at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 5.
Carter is charged with driving motor vehicle (Mazda 2) with a proportion of a specified controlled drug - Delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol - in his blood above the specified limit, namely 9.8 micrograms per litre, on April 21 at Criterion Way, Pembroke Dock.
The offence, which is contrary to section 5A(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988, is punishable with imprisonment in the case of a person who has attained the age of 18.
