A TENBY man has been banned from the road by magistrates for a year after admitting drink driving. 

Walt Farr, of 18 Tudor Way, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on 18 April. 

The court heard that the 29-year-old was stopped by police while driving a Ford Fiesta on Holyland Road in Pembroke on 24 March. 

Roadside and police station breath tests showed that Farr had 46 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. 

The legal limit is 35mcgs. 

Farr was disqualified from driving for 12 months. 

He must also pay costs of £85 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £160.
