A MAN currently residing in Johnston pleaded guilty to stealing a collectible teddy bear from a shop in Narberth.
Christopher Brockway, of Silverdale Inn and Lodge, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates on Tuesday, July 14.
The 45-year-old pleaded guilty to the theft of a Pink Leopard Charlie Bear, to the value of £120, from Matilda’s, High Street, Narberth on May 12.
Brockway was ordered to pay £120 in compensation, to which a fine of £80 was added. His guilty plea taken into account
Costs to Crown Prosecution Service amounted to £85, plus a surcharge of £32 to fund victim support services. An application was made for benefit deductions, with the lump sum to be paid within 28 days.
