A MAN from Pembroke who stole alcohol worth £70 from a Pembroke Dock supermarket has been discharged by the court.
Graham Watson, of Colley Court, Monkton, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 23.
The 53-year-old was charged with the theft of one bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey and another bottle of whiskey, value of £70, belonging to ASDA Stores Ltd from the shop at Gordon Street, Pembroke Dock. He pleaded guilty to the offence, which took place on January 6 of this year.
Taking the guilty plea into account, Magistrates gave Watson an ‘absolute discharge’, meaning that the court decided not to impose any punishment, so he was released without conditions imposed or any further action.
