An exhibition of the history of Cosheston is being presented by the Cosheston History Group this weekend.

Entitled 'Cosheston Recalled', it is being staged at the village's St. Michael and All Angels Church over three days, commencing this (Friday) eveing from 7-9 pm.

Also being held in collaboration with tomorrow's Cosh Call Out 'Village Day', it will continue on Saturday with two sessions, from 10 am - 12 noon and from 2 - 4 pm, and will be open again on Sunday afternoon between 2 and 4 pm.. All welcome.

The History Group have carried out extensive research and this is ongoing. They are hoping to gather as much information as possible, in all types of formats, i.e. written, audio and photographic, to tell the history of Cosheston.

"We would be grateful for any contributions that anyone is able to loan to the group, to add to what has already been collected," said a spokesperson. "It is hoped that this will be the first of many exhibitions."
