The unique local charity for veterans and the community offers mental health support through arts and counselling services. The gallery thanked everyone for rallying around and making the day special for the volunteers, who are greatly appreciated as the ‘lifeblood of the VC’.

A total of 81 volunteers have put in an unbelievable 14,900 hours, an estimated £182,000 worth in financial terms - but the real impact is how it makes them feel and benefits everyone around them.

The VC Gallery has many projects and aims in the community, award winning projects like D4V (Dig for Victory) Woodlands Wellbeing, From Garden to Plate, Found in the Ground, Walking Group and much, much more, giving members the diversity every day to have a chance to make connections and learn new skills.

In the two VC hubs (Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock) many different activities take place and everyone is made welcome. Volunteers play a massive part in making sure that happens and are much loved.
