JAN Sullivan won the gold medal for her print titled Mid Air Encounter in Tenby and District Camera Club’s annual ‘Mono’ competition.
Tenby and District Camera Club held its annual “Mono” competition with 22 print entries and 49 Digital entries from 25 different club members.
Martyn Pincher was invited to judge the 22 print entries and 49 digital entries from 25 different club members, to critique the images and advise on how to improve them.
Martyn commented how he had enjoyed judging such quality work.
He always judges “cold”, assessing the image on the night. He had not seen the images before the evening, but was still able to give an excellent critique on every image, recommending further adjustments and cropping to improve the image.
Silver medal was won by Roy Peters for his print Up in the Clouds, and the bronze went to Dave Bolton for his print Where Silence Blooms.
Prints by Jan Sullivan, Rob Cox and John Slater were highly commended.
Jayne Crocker won gold for her digital image Forged City, while Gill Mackay was awarded silver for The Lone Walker and Charlie Kidd’s On The Stairs earned him a bronze.
Highly commended digital images were created by John Powell, Cheryl Hewitt, John Whitehurst and Jan Sullivan.
