LOCAL children’s bereavement charity Sandy Bear was invited to host a table at a Dying Matters Week event at Morriston Hospital in Swansea on May 6.

Staff members Georgia and Sadie attended the event, sharing the vital work of Sandy Bear, connecting with hospital staff, members of the public, and other amazing organisations across Swansea who are all dedicated to supporting families through bereavement.

The Pembrokeshire charity, which supports children, young people and their families who have experienced, or are preparing for, the death of a loved one, described the event as “a truly meaningful afternoon filled with conversation, collaboration, and community.”
