THE Pembrokeshire Fundraising Group of Guide Dogs Cymru has expressed gratitude to Alison Jones who walked the 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path over 16 days, raising well over £1,000 for the charity.
Alison had only two days off, one following a met office weather warning and another for her son’s birthday.
On the last leg from Lydstep to Amroth in Tenby she met up with guide dog owner Sue Canham and guide dog Henry along with volunteer Sian Rees, on Glen Beach, Saundersfoot with Libby John and her husband’s guide dog Skip, and finally at Amroth with Group Organiser Eva Rich and volunteer Lynn Knibbs.
Congratulations Alison, and a huge thanks from all the guide dogs in Pembrokeshire.
Eva and Lynn couldn’t believe how bright Alison was as she ended her walk at Amroth, you would never have thought she had walked 186 miles.
