ON Monday (June 15) the Tenby Project enjoyed an amazing session with illustrator Stewart Pawley.
Stewart said he had had a lovely afternoon and thanked the project for inviting him back to the Augustus Place Community Hall.
He had found an idea on Facebook for the session, where everyone starts off with just a pair of eyes on a piece of paper and draws a person, an animal, or a creature around them.
“Great imagination starter,” said Stewart. “We had a couple of cats, a lima, a floppy eared dog, an alien dog-type creature, an owl or two and a happy heart creature…Wonderful work all!”
The artist added that any ideas for future sessions for this “brilliant community hub” would be very gratefully received.
Having first updated it to offer a warm welcome in Welsh as well as English, he donated his old exhibition welcome sign, with promises for a further adventure in July.
“He never fails to amaze us all by his work,” said Tenby Project volunteer Lauren. “Thank you for our new welcome sign too, it looks great.”
