FORTY-four Tenby Friendship Club members did a trip down memory lane, travelling on a Taf Valley Coach to Gwili Steam Railway, near Carmarthen.

They were greeted at Abergwili Junction by the Station Master and shown to the newly refurbished buffet carriage. Then, with a rumble and smoke, the train set off and the friends on board were served with a delicious cream tea.
The party ate as the train passed through the Carmarthenshire valley following the River Gwili to a station now renovated as a museum, before returning back to the starting point and home.

Thanks to Dave, of Taf Valley Coaches, and to the very professional staff on the Gwili Railway. A special thanks also goes to the Tenby Lions Club for their generous contribution to help with this wonderful afternoon.
