Under the leadership of their outgoing president Sonia Evans, the Soroptimists International of Tenby and District, had been involved in helping at Tenby’s Memory Café prior to lockdown.

During lockdown members were aware that residents of local nursing homes might be feeling isolated and decided to knit ‘Comfort Teddies’ with oddments of wool.

The needles have been clicking away and in the past couple of weeks Teddies have been delivered to - Belvedere House Residential Care Home and Park House Court Nursing Home, Tenby, Brooklands Nursing Homes, Saundersfoot and Bush House Care Home, Pembroke.
