AT the recent coffee morning organised by Betty Rowen and friends at Lampeter Velfrey Village Hall, the excellent sum of £1,028 was raised.

Thanks to Gill Lewis, of Barclays Bank, Haverfordwest, who helped at the event, this amount will be increased by £750 through Barclays match-fund scheme, making a grand total of £1,778 raised for the Macmillan cause.

Sincere thanks to all who supported the event, donated generously and gave raffle prizes and cakes.
