George and Pam were walking the 180 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path from Cardigan to Amroth, to raise funds towards a Leadership Development Project as organised by Warrington Rotary in partnership with the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Foundation.
The Peace Foundation began its work as a living memorial to the two boys killed 25 years ago in the Warrington bombing with the aim to build connections between young people who might help lead us out of a troubled past.
This project will bring together young people from Warrington and Northern and Southern Ireland and give them the skills to be in control of their emotions, think differently and behave with a conscience.
After 15 days and 186 miles from St Dogmaels, George was surprised to find that it was only a 25 mile drive, taking less than an hour, to return to his car which he had left in Cardigan.
George also visited the Rotary Club of Pembroke during his trip and thanked both clubs for their kind support.
George is the President of the Rotary Club of Warrington and completed the walk in support of the Warrington Peace Foundation which has been established to remember the devastation caused by the IRA bombings in Warrington Town Centre in 1993.
