A 27-year-old man sustained a serious foot injury whilst climbing at St. Govans Head shortly before 3.30 pm on Sunday.
The casualty was from Cambridge and was climbing the climb known as Manzoku (graded E15B) when a 10kg rock fell approximately 25 metres onto his foot.
St. Govans and Tenby Coastguard Rescue Teams went to his aid, along with the South Pembs. sector manager, and they assisted ambulance paramedics with his evacuation.
He was then transferred to Withybush Hospital.
