“If you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book.”  - J. K Rowling

Chapter One, Narberth Museum’s new bookshop, might just be able to help.

The town’s only dedicated independent bookshop stocks something for everyone including a wide range of the latest titles in contemporary fiction.

This year we’ve been particularly proud to feature Narberth author, Sophie Mackintosh’s Booker long-listed novel The Water Cure.

The non-fiction section provides subjects to satisfy all interests – biographies, local and Welsh history, walking, food and drink, railways, art and architecture, poetry and natural history.

There is also a range of Welsh fiction and books for learners.

Children’s books are well represented and at the moment there are plenty of beautifully-illustrated Christmas books to put you and your family in the mood for the holidays ahead.

These are in addition to our permanent stock of delightful children’s books for all ages.

A book-ordering service is available and books can often be collected the next working day.

Friendly staff and volunteers are always on hand to help you choose or to recommend books they have enjoyed. We’re all avid readers here!

Can’t decide? Why not give the booklover in your life the opportunity to visit and chose heir own book with National Book Tokens, which are available to buy and spend in store.

The current Christmas Books catalogue offers a host of ideas for presents.

There are weekly offers in the run up to Christmas, so check out the Facebook page or website for these.

The coffee shop houses hundreds of quality second-hand books and you can browse to your hearts delight while enjoying great coffee and cake. New books are arriving all the time!

Free wi-fi makes the coffee shop a good place to work or hold informal meetings.

They hope to see you soon!
