Water pouring into one of the caves located on Tenby’s South Beach has given a councillor cause for concern.

Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, Clr. Paul Rapi told his colleagues that he was concerned about the volume of water falling into a cave on the beach below the Paragon.

“There never used to be that amount of water pouring through that cave, it is literally pouring down like a waterfall, and forming a trench - something is definitely not right there!” he told his colleagues.

The Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, suggested checking the matter out with the Water Board and council’s maintenance team.
