This evening, and also next Friday, the Youth Club will be carol singing in the parish of Carew.

This Sunday, there will be an All Age Worship Service at 11 am, which will also include the christingle service. The worship group will meet at 2.30 pm, in the Sunday Schoolroom, for a quiet hour of prayer and contemplation. There will be no Evening Service. All are welcome to the Advent Bible Study, at 7.30 pm, in the Youth Centre on Tuesday.

Messy Christmas will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at Carew Memorial Hall between 10 and 11.30 am. Please also remember that all children must be accompanied by an adult. Following that on Sunday, at 4 pm, the ‘Journey to Bethlehem’ will commence at Pisgah Baptist Chapel, the journey will then continue to Carew Wesley Methodist Chapel and on to St. Mary’s Church, Carew Cheriton, where a warm welcome and a feast awaits everyone.

On Saturday, December 19, at 4 pm, there will be a Blue Christmas Service in the chapel. This is a service for those who find Christmas an especially difficult time of the year.

Our thoughts go out to all the loyal chapel members who are unable to join us in worship due to ill health. Please pray for those in need of any kind, but particularly for anyone in hospital or who have just returned home. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the family and friends of Dorothy Francis, who died recently. Also remember Margaret and family, as well as other families who have lost loved ones recently. Please pray for Pat Gibby and Anne Bailey, not forgetting all those on our prayer list, especially Daisy, Netty, Doreen Hughes, and Brenda.

The chapel is open for prayers and meditation each day between 10 am and 4 pm as we surround all those in our parish who are ill and lonely with our love and prayers. A warm welcome will be waiting for anyone from our community, who wishes to come along to the events/services.
