Sir,

In 1953, when I was in the RAF, I shared a room with an Arthur Williams from Tenby. We were both Air Signallers in Bomber Command 148 Squadron at RAF Upwood, and he suggested that when I got married, Tenby would be an ideal place for a honeymoon. We stayed here 60 years ago and have been going back ever since.

On this visit, I thought it might be an idea to try and trace him. He used to live at a house called Roseville, Broadwell Hayes, Tenby, and his father was a local headmaster. I know this, as during my honeymoon, I had to take an exam at his school for a management qualification I was taking from the Birmingham College of Advanced Technology.

Arthur would be about 80 or so if alive.
