Simon Hart MP has paid a visit to the busy lifeboat crew at Angle RNLI.
He was given a tour of the Tamar Class 'Mark Mason' and told about the vital work that is carried out by the charity, its volunteers and staff.
Honorary secretary Clr. John Allen-Mirehouse said: "The crew have been very busy recently as they always are in a fine summer."
Mr. Hart added: "It was fascinating to meet the crew and learn more about their work. A lifeboat can burn 80 gallons of diesel per hour at full speed and the RNLI is totally reliant on donations.
"I also heard about the hard work of the Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild who have been raising money at lots of events this year very successfully."
