Twr y Felin Hotel in St Davids, Pembrokeshire, has received a Visit Wales Gold Award in recognition of its high standards of quality, comfort and hospitality.
The award is given to businesses in the Visit Wales Hotel and Guest Accommodation schemes, with which Twr y Felin already holds AA 4 Silver Star status as a hotel of superior quality.
Opened in March 2016 as Wales’ first contemporary art hotel, Twr y Felin Hotel is a former windmill that has been restored and extended into a luxury heritage property.
The Hotel features 21 bedrooms including a suite located in the former windmill tower which spans three floors and offers 360 degree views over the St Davids peninsula.
Twr y Felin Hotel is also home to Two AA Rosette Blas Restaurant. Under Head Chef Simon Coe, Blas offers a menu influenced by the season and uses produce sourced from predominantly Pembrokeshire and Welsh suppliers, as well as foraged ingredients from the surrounding countryside and coast.

Since October 2016 Twr y Felin Hotel and Roch Castle have been listed in the Sunday Times Ultimate 100 British Hotels list, Twr y Felin has been awarded Best Serviced Accommodation over 12 rooms at the Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards and has been shortlisted in the Civic Trust Awards.
Roch Castle was crowned Hotel of the Year at the Welsh Hospitality Awards and Best 5* Hotel in Wales by Trivago in 2016, whilst Penrhiw Hotel was named an AA Five Gold Star property.
