EXPERIENCED local vets have just taken over All Pets Vet Care, an independent small animal practice based in Milford Haven and one of the few practices still providing out-of-hours cover for the pets of Pembrokeshire.

It’s an exciting new chapter as ownership passes from founder Billa Schleicher to Pete Howe and Alice Richards, keeping the practice independently owned and firmly rooted in the local community.

Alice and Pete, who have both worked as small animal vets in Pembrokeshire for over a decade, are proud to build on the strong foundations already in place. They remain committed to treating every pet like a member of the family, with compassionate, gentle care at a fair price.

The practice will also continue supporting local wildlife charities Tinkers Hill Bird Rescue and The Hogspital, which cares for injured and sick hedgehogs. This work has been an important part of Billa’s legacy and will remain going forward.

Alongside the change in ownership, the friendly All Pets Vet Care team will remain in place. Longstanding client relationships are a key part of what makes the practice special.

Alice Richards says, “It’s a privilege to take All Pets Vet Care on. There is a wonderful team here and we’re committed to keeping the same personal, caring approach that clients and their pets know and trust. Being an independent practice means we can stay close to the needs of our clients and the local community.”

Pete Howe added, “We both care deeply about Pembrokeshire and the people and pets who live here. We want every client to feel supported, listened to and confident that their pets are in safe hands. That includes continuing our own out-of-hours care for registered clients, so pets can always be seen close to home by a familiar, trusted team when it matters most.”
