Independent Estate Agents Chandler Rogers have more than one reason to raise a traditional toast to St. David’s Day as the occasion marks the company’s 10th Anniversary in Tenby.
Located in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, with their office based in the centre of the county’s ‘jewel in the crown’ on Tenby’s Upper Frog Street, since starting up Chandler Rogers have evolved into a successful family run business that puts the emphasis on customer care.
“We strongly believe in service with a blend of modern methods and good old-fashioned hard work,” said Martyn Rogers, who co-founded the business.
“When we started, we had four properties displayed in our window and people were asking why on earth we opened up an Estate Agents during a recession! But with a lot of hard work, dedication and great local support we made it work.”
Chandler Rogers have an extensive portfolio of residential properties for sale or lease, with the firm’s prime catchment area extending within a 15-mile radius of Tenby.
Martyn remarked that people often ask how they have done so well in the period since they first opened their doors and points to the pro-active and professional approach of the team at Chandler Rogers.
“One of the key factors, too, is that, apart from Christmas Day, our bright and welcoming office is open for business seven days a week, including Bank Holidays, meaning that at least one of the team will be available. Nobody else offers that service and it has been a huge facet to the business,” he explained.
Four years ago, Chandler Rogers expanded and moved a little further down the street inside the historic walled town to new offices to allow their lettings department to develop.
“The lettings side of the business, too, has proved to be very successful, as we have achieved an excellent reputation, attracting professional working tenants for our quality rental properties,” continued Martyn.
“With our combined sales experience, motivation and hard work we will endeavour to exceed our clients’ expectations and we are extremely humbled by the support we have received over the last 10 years. It has been amazing!”

“Approximately 80 per cent of property enquiries are made via the internet and this is why we invest a substantial portion of our marketing budget on property search websites. All of our properties are advertised and displayed on the best property search websites providing maximum exposure”, he added.
