I write regarding the proposed Brynhir housing development.

I wonder if the authorities are aware that Brynhir is an ancient Iron Age community site possibly with burial remains of that time?

When I was a schoolboy at Greenhill Grammar School, a preliminary investigative excavation was conducted by Mr. Wilfred Harrison, the history teacher, at that time.

I and other pupils participated in this activity and unearthed evidence of a settlement.

Perhaps this raises a question into the feasibility or otherwise of this development?
